SARAH cARMICHAEL
Sarah Carmichael, MBA - Founder, Bees & Honey Creative
Sarah is an entrepreneur’s best friend. She has made a career of working alongside CEO’s to create and execute marketing strategies that get results.
Throughout her professional career, Sarah has been the lead on a number of successful projects. Most notably, she led the marketing strategy for a high-tech startup from launch to acquisition. Sarah also led the initiative to increase brand recognition and double the leads generated for a technology investment firm, as well as, recently led the creative development of a California-inspired Cannabis brand, which successfully made their Initial Public Offering in April of 2019. She holds an MBA from Queens University and a Digital Marketing Certificate from Cornell University.
As the founder of Bees & Honey Creative Co., Sarah is committed to creating marketing communications plans that strategically align with the key corporate objectives of her clients. From creating buzz to keeping the hive informed – she is the worker bee to help your business blossom.
When she’s not working on marketing strategy, Sarah spends her time volunteering as the Chair of the Queens’ Venture Network Calgary Chapter, as well as with the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Committee.
TRISTAN
lANSDALL
Tristan Lansdall, B.Mgt - Project Manager, Bees & Honey Creative
Originally hailing from small-town Saskatchewan, Tristan is Bees & Honey's Project Manager!
Tristan got his start in the business world by obtaining his Bachelor of Management, with a major in Finance, from the University of Lethbridge. From there he moved to Calgary, to begin his career in the Wealth Management sector. During his time working in the financial industry, Tristan also pursued some side projects. One of these projects was being a founding partner of a Sports Content group called The Amateur Agency Between writing blog posts, managing social medias, and hosting a basketball podcast, Tristan discovered his love for content creation and delivering that content. He has since stepped away from this position, but being a part of it sparked the inspiration for a career change.
Tristan began his career transition in the summer of 2020 and officially joined the Bees & Honey team in August 2020 as a Project Manager. As a project manager, Tristan collaborates with Sarah on projects to help deliver her marketing vision and implement strategies for our great clients.
On his downtime, Tristan can usually be found yelling at a TV with sports of some kind on it, staying active, and enjoying all that the great things the city of Calgary and the Rockies have to offer.
